The Dirty Girls Project was inspired by the viral video Dirty Girls, a short documentary made by Michael Lucid and featuring a group of fearless, iconoclastic high school girls in the 90s.
Original Video: This is where it all started…
Building on global reaction to the video, The Dirty Girls Project reunites the original Dirty Girls, now successful professionals, with other like-minded and equally fierce women, with the mission of inspiring, influencing, and championing women and girls for personal, social and commercial success.
We produce inspirational content and collaborations – digital and physical – that feature and empower admirable babes.
We are a raucous, focused, powerful team of women who work and play hard. In the early mornings and late nights we explore the nooks and crannies of this awesome planet in pursuit of more Dirty Girls – these amazing babes who we find and who sometimes find us are worth knowing, loving and collaborating with.
The Dirty Girls Project is a new media platform devoted to the promotion of empowered, badass women of all ages. We create original content, synergistic partnerships and produce collaborations, both digital and physical, around topics such as art, adventure, fashion, mentorship, entrepreneurship—the bad, the rad and the weird.
